This weekend saw the start of the 2019 BTCC season... which is also the start of my motorsport photography for the year!
Close racing, a variety of racing categories makes for plenty of photo opportunities on track and in the paddock. Its hard to not to just watch the action unfold! I spent much of the weekend wandering around the circuit trying to get to some of the best vantage points to capture the action on track.
Also it was one of the first times out for me with my new Sigma 150-600 lens; getting used to the added weight and reach it offers. Now with the added experience I'm looking forward to the rest of the motorsport season.
